Broadcasting & Digital Media—This pathway prepares students for success in multimedia broadcasting, news production, and journalism. Students develop skills and master multimedia production topics as well as become familiar with current and emerging technologies and practices in TV, radio, and web and podcasting.


Graphic Design & Communication—This pathway prepares students for careers in design. Students develop design skills to meet commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging displays and logos; clothing and accessories; and special effects, animation, or other visual images using film, video, computers, or other electronic tools and media for use in computer games, movies, music videos, and commercials.

Some of the jobs include:

  • Special effects artist/animator
  • Graphic designer
  • Fashion designer

*Some of these jobs require additional education and certifications once a student graduates from high school.
