UTVA Celebrates School Choice at Charter School Day at the Capitol

Utah Virtual Academy (UTVA) joined families, students, and educators from across the
state to celebrate school choice during Charter School Day at the Utah Capitol. As one
of Utah’s longest standing and most trusted online public charter schools, UTVA was
proud to stand alongside others advocating for the freedom to choose the best
educational path for every child.
Throughout the event, UTVA representatives spoke with lawmakers and community
leaders about the school’s commitment to innovation, access, and individualized
learning. Parents and students shared their experiences with online education and how
UTVA has helped them succeed both academically and personally.
Our presence at the Capitol reaffirms our belief that parents know their children
best—and that education should reflect the needs of each unique student. We are
grateful to the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools for organizing this important
event and to the many legislators who stopped by to support school choice in Utah.
