Testing and Assessment FAQs
What tests are required as part of the program?
Students who are enrolled in Utah Virtual Academy (UTVA) are required to take the following tests:
- K12 lesson assessments
- K12 unit assessments
- State Criterion reference test in Reading, Math, and Science in grades 1-11
- Utah Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) in grades 3, 5, and 8
Will my child have to participate in state testing?
Families enrolling at UTVA must be willing to participate in all required areas of the program.
