Utah Virtual Academy (UTVA) believes in finding new ways of learning that work for all kinds of students. That's why we use the Stride K12 curriculum. It was created by an experienced team of educators using proven instructional approaches.
Discover Stride Career Prep
Middle school students begin to consider more long-term goals by discovering their interests in various career fields. Our Stride Career Prep program allows 7th and 8th graders to take a two-course series of career exploration where they get a broad overview of job fields, progressing from general information to more in-depth study into specific career opportunities. This insight will help them better choose a Stride Career Prep pathway in high school, giving them a competitive edge for college and career.
*The Stride K12 K–8 course descriptions are a complete list of the K–8 courses that Stride K12 provides. While UTVA offers a comprehensive selection of courses, not every Stride K12 K–8 course is available to UTVA students. Information on specific courses are provided upon enrollment. For details, please ask your Personal Admissions Liaison (PAL) during the enrollment process.
