Elementary School Curriculum

We recognize that young learners need to explore and discover new things in a safe, distraction-free environment. That's why our elementary school at Utah Virtual Academy provides families the opportunity to do public school from home. Whether students need more challenge, one-to-one support, or a more personalized approach, our Stride K12-powered Utah elementary school curriculum can meet the needs of these and other diverse learners.

Curriculum Designed for Young Learners

Positive education experiences are important at any age, but especially during your child's early years. Our Stride K12-powered Utah elementary school curriculum is designed to engage young minds at this formative stage. The online curriculum includes language arts/English, math, science, and history as well as art, music, and world languages. To reinforce concepts, hands-on learning activities—using education materials delivered to your door*—complement the online lessons.

Your Child's First Teacher

A parent is their child's first and best teacher. To make the most of this special relationship, parents of our Utah elementary school students play an important role. The Learning Coach, a parent or another responsible adult, provides oversight for their child 3 to 6 hours per day. But they're not alone! Our state-licensed teachers provide instruction in live, online classes and are only an email or phone call away to answer questions.
